Summer Volunteers, We Welcome You!
Terra Cura and Healthy Plymouth manage eight organic vegetable and pollinator gardens at various community and school locations on the South Shore of Massachusetts. If you are interested in volunteering for a week (or more!) to water, weed, and enjoy some of the organic harvest we would love to have you. For 2023, all the gardens have been planted as food producing gardens. We will be harvesting the produce for local food pantries and the summer lunch programs.
We will have volunteers available to harvest weekly any of the ripe produce will go to the food pantry but please feel free to take some home for your family as well. Thank you in advance for your help and community spirit!
To volunteer, simply click on the name of the school below — it will redirect you to Sign Up Genius for that location. More information will be provided. There are also two upcoming garden volunteer trainings that are listed there as well.
This is a great activity for families, friends, youth groups, garden and environmental clubs as well as local organizations. We appreciate your help and look forward to a wonderful harvest to benefit local hunger initiatives.
